SKYLINE COMMONS ANNOUNCES HIRE OF NEW MARKETING DIRECTOR
Queens, New York Skyline Commons, a new continuing care retirement community that will be a total renovation of the existing ten-story building located at the northwest corner of the Queens Hospital Center campus on Parsons Boulevard in Jamaica announced the appointment of Julia Bartholomew as the Director of Marketing.
When Skyline Commons opens in 2008, it will be a spectacular addition to an already dynamic neighborhood, said Maureen Anderson, Vice President of Marketing for New Life Management & Development, Inc., the development firm for Skyline Commons. The addition of Julia Bartholomew to the marketing effort will help shape this one-of-a-kind retirement community as we move forward and offer a unique lifestyle for seniors in this area.

Im looking forward to the challenges of bringing to life this first-of-its-kind continuing care retirement community in the City of New York. Ms. Bartholomew brings with her many years of marketing and sales experience, most recently3 ½ years in senior housing in the New York Metro Area. A lifelong New Yorker with strong ties to the area, she is married and has a son in college. Sponsor for the Skyline Commons project, Margaret Tietz Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, has provided Queens with superior levels of care on a multi-faceted basis for 35 years. They will be the first not-for-profit provider to develop this type of retirement option in the City of New York.
When constructed, Skyline Commons will provide luxurious retirement living for seniors aged 62 and older. This full-service community will offer a wide array of world class amenities such as multiple restaurants, day spa, fitness club with personal trainers, performance center, computer lab, cocktail lounge and wellness center along with the peace of mind that comes with knowing that there is on-site, long-term care should a residents health status change.
